My Precious

Before I discovered charms and started making those cute and delightful charm jewelry, I was really into sparkling little semi-precious gemstones and precious metal. I couldn't resist thoses faceted briolettes, delightful colors, and well buffed stones. In fact, I collected so many of them that I had to destash some in my supplies shop (That Gem Shop). Well, I've closed up That Gem Shop for a bit now, because number 1, I have a tad wee bit too much on my plate right now to be managing two shops, and number 2, I've decided to be a hoarder and keep all those lovely precious stones for my own use. Yes, I've come back to my first love again, and have revived gemstone cum precious metal concoctions in my repertoire, but I won't stop making charm jewelry either. I'm gonna be making both because I love them all, and have a jolly good time doing it!

Here's to show off some stone pieces that I've recently made and put up in my Etsy shop (under The Classics). Sort of a trailer, more to come, so keep a watch out! :)

Tensha

There was a time when I was madly in love with tensha beads, and recently my old love was revived when I saw some new versions of tensha - UV tensha beads! These necklaces are made from UV tensha - the background of the tensha pendants turn a nice shade of purple under direct sunlight or UV light. The transformation is almost instantaneous, and once you go back indoors, the colour changes back to normal. Cool!
And because my old love was revived, I decided to remake some of my tensha dangles. Love their sparkle! Call this a "retro" phase, Jewel Parlour style. I made 5 pairs actually, but one is already sold. And one per pair only, strictly no remakes, not in a long long time at least! :)

These are now on sale in my Etsy shop under the category Sweet Damsel. Because they are really sweet! Mouse over for a look!

These Lovely Vines

During my trip to Tokyo in June I picked up some lovely rhinestone studded, flower-motifed, sparkling and twinkling connectors, which reminds me of twirling vines. I paired them with swarovski crystals and glass briolettes and ta-da! - presenting the lovely vines series - 3 pairs of pretty danglies and a princess-like necklace. Just the right amount of sparkle for work and play. Mouse over to my online shop http://jewelparlour.etsy.com/ for a look-see!

Mini Vintage Garden - Earrings

Recently I made a pair of earrings called Vintage Garden using the same glass briolettes, and since I still have those glass brios I decided to make another pair, keeping it slightly simpler this time but still charming all the same. You decide which pair you prefer, for me, I love them both!

With goldfilled hooks.

SOLD

Rose of Sharon II - Earrings (Sterling Silver)

This is a remake with a twist - the flowers this time are brighter than the first version. Still rare and sweet, with a bit of spice too. An attention grabber!

Pink Ruffled Lace (Sterling Silver)

This is the pink version of Ruffled Lace (have you seen the blue set?) Pretty and frilly with that girlish sweetness for all girls young at heart - and that includes me!

Remakes

I've sold a pair each of these earrings before at bazaars, and although I seldom repeat designs or do remakes (coz doing the same things are sooo boring to me!), I just have to repeat these, coz personally I love the simplicity and feminity of the designs.

Red
Formerly I called them "I See Red", but I guess that might sound a tad fierce or angry, so I shortened the name to just Red. Simple design with a dynamite impact. Quite petite and looks very pretty dangling from the ears. I know, coz when the customer who bought the first pair put them on immediately, I was quite impressed by my own handiwork. :P (yes, I have no shame!)
Price: $19
SOLD

Linear
Simple and sweet. What more can I say? :)
Price: $19
No Longer Available, Sorry!

Simple Everyday Earrings

Looking for something simple to spice up your daily workwear wardrobe? Let's take a look at these earrings, simple and great for work, and pretty enough to transit to that dinner date or party too!

Everyday Elegance
As the name suggests, this pair is of a simple design, but the elegance is definitely not lost. With a neutral colour combi that will match lots of outfits! With sterling silver wires.
Price: $23
SOLD

Blue Fire
I fell in love with labradorite recently, just love the blue fire in those briolettes! You must visit my shop to see the other pic where you can see the blue sheen even more clearly! With 925 silver beads and accents
Price: $26
SOLD

Rutilated
I would say rutilated quartz is my recent acquired taste. What looks at first like a messy stone, is actually quite a beauty! It's amazing how our Creator creates these beautiful stones, and a reminder that no matter how messed up we are, we are still His jewels, made for His purpose. :) Rutilated quartz marquis brios with garnet, onyx and sterling silver
Price: $32
SOLD

Lady

I was wondering what to call this pretty set, and then at a bazaar someone commented "ooh look at this set! So ladylike!" And so "Lady" they are called. Looking at them, it's no wonder they attract that comment. The pretty roses on the Japanese tensha beads, and the simple design overall makes it so feminine and so....lady. For the pretty lass in all of us. :)

Necklace: $35
SOLD
Earrings: $26

Blue Ruffled Lace

This is a frilly pretty set which I call Blue Ruffled Lace because the flower clusters look lacy at a distance. Feminine, cool, and classy. Definitely good for parties and dates, and on days when you have work day blues, wear either one to turn thm into feel-good days! The day becomes better when you feel prettier :)

All accents and wires are sterling silver.

Earrings: $27
SOLD
Bracelet: $39

P.S. A pink set is coming soon! Watch out for them.
