Things I Like #5 - JMacc

In my heyday (which was not too distant ago) I was a well-known avid bag "collector" among my friends. No, I don't collect brand names (no Pradas nor Guccis, thank you), instead, I love bags that are unique, colorful, girlish and stylish. Although circumstances and practical reasons have since made me relunctantly tamed the habit, yet I could still feel tremors of excitement run up my spine when I first stumbled upon this bag maker on Etsy:

Aren't these bags simply gorgeous!! These are the pretty handiwork of the talented Jenny Macc, and they are my current favourite picks from her etsy shop at http://jmacc.etsy.com/. Although her current collection is small, every bag truly packs a punch, and has style and good taste written all over them. Her vinyl bags (for example, the 2 bags on the left) are bright and modern with a simple but striking motif or pattern. Her clever mix of vinyl & fabric bags (for example, the 2 bags on the right) uses unique fabric with some really yummy, drool-worthy prints and are trimmed with vinyl at the rims and bottom. All her bags are fully lined with zippered pockets too. Practicality on top of vanity, my style totally!

The yellow Sunny Delight mini messenger in the pic above will certainly cheer up your day. And the strap is adjustable too! The silver Clover Park shoulder bag is shimmeringly modern and chic and just the bag for both work and play. And being the sucker for anything floral, colourful AND feminine, I love both the vinyl/fabric selections above. The top one looks good with dresses and the bottom goes so well with pants and jeans. Hmm, maybe I should get hubby to read this, after all Christmas is coming!

Tis the season to change your carrywear girl! And don't go looking for brand names, get something really different for a change - visit jmacc today and take your pick!
