Clothing, wallets, coin pouches, purses, coffee sleeves, hair clippies - all sewn from recycled/repurposed/upcycled materials!! These are all carefully handstitched together by Brook Helfen of SoSheSews. For all you eco-friendly fans out there, this is one crafter not to be missed! I especially love the cute owl and wolf coin purses (a few examples are above), and she has some really cute clothing too. Most of all I love what she says about her craft: "I am really interested in re-use, particularly in the garment industry and see it as an opportunity not only to save resources and avoid contributing to inhumane industries, but also to promote one-on-one trade where the buyer deals and interacts directly with the craftsman."
