I love birds, and these are some the the cutest handpainted ones! These are the artwork of Joy, who is an art teacher in the day and a potter at night, and these plates are "handbuilt from red earthernware clay and decorated with creamy slips and glazes. " Besides birds, some of her plates carry drawings of pears and flowers.
